Elections

Request an OA Election:
A unit may go on line to request that appropriate Chapter election team contact them about holding a unit election by going to the Request Election Page.

Reporting Youth Election Results:
Results of Unit Elections must be submitted to the Lodge in a specific manner.  Election results must be submitted in writing using the Candidate Election Form.  Additionally, election information must be submitted electronically to Mr. Kethley using a specific format as outlined in the Reporting Procedures Form

Recommending Unit and District/Council Adults:
Units electing at least one youth candidate may nominate an adult to the Lodge Adult Selection Committee by faxing the Unit Adult Recommendation Form to the Lodge Adviser at 404.255.8314.  Units electing 50 or more youth candidates may nominate one adult for each 50 youth elected.  Additionally, Each District Chair (on behalf of the District Committee), the Council President, Scout Executive, the Lodge Adviser or professional staff, may nominate adults to the Lodge Adult Selection Committee by faxing the District/Council Adult Recommendation Form to the Lodge Adviser at 404.255.8314.  Adults may be nominated on one time each year as either a unit Scouter or district/council Scouter, but not both.  How they are nominated depends on where they maintain their primary registration.  More information on Adult Membership Qualifications is available in the OA Guide to Officers and Advisers.
