Fall Fellowship...Celebrating Gratefulness
Greetings, Fellow Wears of the Arrow!
We hope all of you are enjoying the beauty of the season and the cool temperatures. The crisp feeling in the air, the vibrant variety of the colors of the changing leaves, and the afternoon glow of the autumn sun descending make this time of year very special for me. It is an amazing time of year that signals the coming season of gratefulness and thanksgiving.
It also signals our coming Fall Fellowship at Scoutland on the weekend of November 14-16. This will be our third annual Fall Fellowship that has become a welcomed and appreciated Ordeal and service opportunity at the most-used property of the Northeast Georgia Council throughout the calendar year.Mowogo Lodge continues to focus our efforts on all our properties and Scoutland and all those who enjoy and experience Scouting there benefit from your selfless service.
Of special note at the 2025 Fall Fellowship will be the dedication and use of the newly constructed ceremony ring that has recently been completed. As you can see from the picture, it has a beautiful Scoutland setting overlooking Lake Lanier. This dedication will be held just prior to the first Brotherhood ceremony on Friday evening at the Fall Fellowship beginning at 8:30PM. Please plan to join us for this dedication and first ceremony in this new ring. Many thanks to all those who dedicated time and effort to create this permanent symbol of Mowogo Lodge’s commitment to Scoutland, to the thousands of Scouts and Scouters who experience some of the best of Scouting there, and to our annual Fall Fellowship.

It appears that Mowogo will be well represented at various OA High Adventure (OAHA) programs next summer.A group has been organized by Brother Jack Butler and supported by his friends who he served on the National Order of the Arrow Committee for several years. Nine of our brothers are part of this initiative. Mowogo Lodge has also received a special invitation from the national OA leadership to participate in a special OAHA program being offered at Philmont next summer as well. This was offered following the National Council of Chiefs gathering at Philmont this past summer where Mowogo Lodge was well represented by our 2025 Lodge Chief and incoming Lodge Adviser. Our 2026 Lodge Chief recently sent a lodge-wide email about this opportunity. Please reach out to ask about this opportunity if you are interested in being a part of the most unique and impactful programs offered by the national OA leadership.
We hope to see all of you at Fall Fellowship! If you haven’t registered yet, please follow this link so we can best prepare and share fellowship in service to others with you!
