Winter Banquet 2021

Brothers,

As we near the holiday season, our annual Winter Banquet is on the horizon. It’s happening this year on December 4th, and for the first time at Camp Rainey Mountain! Winter Banquet is our lodge version of an awards banquet. After having a delicious dinner, members of our lodge are recognized for their service over the past year and the next year’s Lodge Officers are sworn in!

A large part of the banquet are the guest speakers. In the past we’ve had sectional officers, national officers and other exceptional people come to speak at the banquet. This year Craig Pett, our council president, is going to be there, so this isn’t something you’ll want to miss!

We’ll also have the limited 2021 Winter Banquet patch for sale. If you are a patch collector you’ll want to pick this up. Our Winter Banquet patches are few and far between and they always sell out!
Registration closes for Winter Banquet on November 30th, so make sure you sign up before it’s too late!

Yours in Cheerfulness,

Will Benjamin
Vice Chief of Communication, Mowogo Lodge

New Lodge VCIA

As many of you know, we had a vacancy at our Vice Chief of Indian Affairs position for 2022. Several brothers stepped up to fill the gap, but unfortunately the Lodge Executive Committee could only select one individual. Thank you for everyone who applied. Your dedication to Mowogo has not gone unnoticed. That being said, our LEC has selected Patrick McNair as our 2022 Acting VCIA! Since many of you displayed interest in the position, I would highly recommend each of you to contact Patrick or our current VCIA Lukas Bettich, to see how you can be a part of our Indian Affairs program in 2022.

Once again, please join me in congratulating Patrick!

Jacob A. Ball
