Patches for NOAC 2024

Hello Mowogo Lodge!

It was wonderful to get to see all of you at Spring Fellowship this past weekend, but there's a lot more planned for this year!

With the National Order of the Arrow Conference happening this year, we are looking for anyone who would be interested in designing anything for our lodge. We are currently looking for designs for

  • 2 Patch Sets
  • 1 shirt design
  • 1 hat design

Patch designs are due Friday at midnight, and they will be chosen by the LEC on Saturday.

Check the attachment for more specifics about what we're looking for!

Even if you don't want to design a patch, we would still love to have you come with our lodge to Colorado (UC Boulder) this summer. Spots are LIMITED, and we only have 10 spots left for the rest of Mowogo Lodge. Registration CLOSES 3/29/24, and there will be no exceptions for that rule. It is a little bit more on the expensive side ($1,035), but for airfare, transportation, meals, lodging, and the extensive program, it is an incredible and unforgettable opportunity.

In case you don't know what NOAC is, it's a full week of fellowship that will take place at UC Boulder this summer, (7/29 - 8/3). There's a whole lot to do, here's a link for the program at last NOAC - (Program Link), but I've heard that 2024 is going to have even more.

Registration can be done here - (Registration Link). If you have any questions, please email me at noac2024@mowogo.org.

Yours in Brotherhood,
Sankalp Yeleti

Spring Fellowship Photos Submission

Hello Brothers!

Firstly, I would like to thank you all so much for the incredible cheerful service that was put into Spring Fellowship! Everyone played a part in ensuring success whether you served as an Elangomat, worked on the campfire, or did one of the many other projects.

Seeing everyone have a blast while working together truly struck a chord with me and I hope it inspires everyone to keep up the great work.

For everyone who took pictures during the event, I have a challenge for all of you. The communications team is offering a competition for everyone who submits photos of the Spring Fellowship. Send some of your photos for the chance to win a prize!

To submit your pictures, you can either submit the pictures to the Mowogo Facebook page or message the Instagram page Mowogo243. Additionally, you can email them to these people:

Be sure to follow YPT if you are emailing pictures.

Thank you all so much! I look forward to seeing everyone's pictures!

Yours in Enthusiasm,

Tamas L. Phillips | Vice Chief of Communications

Spring Fellowship Check-in and Check-out Procedure

Hello Brothers,

Spring Fellowship is coming up and we are very excited for a weekend of fellowship and service.

Here is the Check-in procedure for arriving on Friday night between 6:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.

Members and Candidates will arrive in the parking lot and head to the Admin Building.

Please leave your gear outside while you go inside for check-in.

Everyone bring their Medical forms if needed inside to the check-in table so we can make sure everyone has registered, paid, and accounted for.

Everyone will receive a Patch Voucher that you will need to hold onto for the weekend. This is your way to receive your patch during checkout.

After turning in your paperwork:

Members will head back outside, and head to your chapter campsite.

Candidates will proceed to the medical officer with their Medical Forms, and then be assigned to a clan and receive an arm band.
We ask that candidates arrive as close to 6:30 as possible so that we can get them in their clans.

If you plan on becoming Brotherhood Members at Spring Fellowship, please be early as well since the Brotherhood hike will start at 8 p.m. from the dining hall porch.

For after 9:00 p.m. or Saturday arrivals Check-in will be available after breakfast on Saturday.

Check-out procedure

Everyone will have received a Patch Voucher when they check in and will need to turn it in on Sunday when they check out to receive their patch. Turning in the Patch Voucher is how we know that you have left the property.

From after Breakfast Sunday morning, someone will be available in the Admin Building, swapping Patch Vouchers for Patches, and checking people out. Once you have turned your ticket in and received your patch, you are free to go home.

If you must leave early, please check out with one of the Admin team or leave your Patch Voucher with your Chapter Adviser so that they may collect your Patch.

If anyone has any questions, feel free to reach out.

Yours in Service,

Caroline "Kit-Kat" Davis
