Spring Fellowship Ceremonialists Needed!

Good afternoon Arrowmen!

As of now, we are in dire need of additional ceremonialists.

We need two Allowat Sakima’s for Friday night’s Pre-Ordeal ceremonies, along with one for Saturday’s Ordeal, who can be the same as a Pre-O.

We also need backups for EVERY PRINCIPLE.

The more ceremonialists we have, the better experience we can offer our candidates and our brothers. However, if we do not have enough ceremonialists, we cannot hold a brotherhood ceremony, we hold it at an inopportune time, or ceremonies stretch out so long it negatively impacts the fellowship experience for the whole lodge. Every youth member, even those that went through their Ordeal at Fall Fellowship, are eligible to be a ceremonialist.

Please contact me ASAP at lodge.vcia@mowogo.org

Spring Fellowship Registration - 1 week left!

Brothers,

Our Spring Fellowship in March is rapidly approaching and if you are not yet signed up, you should be! Spring Fellowship is taking place March 15th - March 17th and has a plethora of activities for everyone varying from fellowship to service and patch trading. There will even be an opportunity to get Brotherhood!

If you sign up to attend, you will spend parts of Saturday in service to Camp Rainey Mountain, giving back to the camp and making it truly a place to remember for everyone who will use it in the future.

But Spring Fellowship isn't all service! There will be silent auctions and patch trading. Unique games will be brought to people to enjoy. Saturday night will have a memorable campfire filled with interactive songs, skits, and stories. To top it all off there will be remarkable food to enjoy with friends.

Registration closes on March 11th but an additional 10 dollars will be added after March 8th!

Be sure to sign up and make memories with us before it's too late at Spring Fellowship Registration.

Yours in Enthusiasm,

Tamas L. Phillips | Vice Chief of Communications

Elangomat Training Next Weekend (3/9/24)

Hello Mowogo Lodge!

Next weekend at Scoutland, we will be holding an Elangomat Training!

The training will last from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM. There is no cost for the training, but you will need to register online. Please also bring a water bottle, work gloves, work clothes, a notebook and pen, and a raincoat.

The only remaining date is:

March 9th - Scoutland (Craft Shack)

One of the most important pieces of our Ordeal weekends is the Elangomats. This is such a necessary role that has the potential to make or break the experience of the candidates.

The role of the Elangomat is simple - be a friend to the candidates. You serve with them throughout the day, staying silent, and eating little. It is an opportunity for you as an Arrowman to lead by example and demonstrate the cheerful service of our brotherhood.
