Tsali Day of Service

Hello Arrowmen!

Canantutlaga and Lau-in-nih are proud to present the Tsali Day of Service and Reunion which is rapidly approaching! This will be a day full of service, training, fellowship, and fun. Every year our two chapters come together for a feast to reunite the Canatutlaga and Lau-in-nih chapters, which used to be one chapter – Tsali.

This year, our two chapters will have a reunion like we have had in years past. But this year we are adding a fun twist to it. We are adding Elangomat training, a day of service, and opening up this fantastic event to the lodge!

Anyone who plans on arriving must bring the proper equipment for service. Work gloves, closed-toed shoes, water bottles, rain gear, and Class A with sash are all needed. Be sure to account for the colder weather as well.

What: Tsali Day of Service & Reunion Feast

Where: Scoutland (3685 Looper Lake Rd, Gainesville, GA 30506)

When: October 29, 2023

Schedule:

10 am - 12 pm Elangomat Training (Cleveland Hall)
12 pm - 4 pm Opening and Start Service Projects
4 pm - 6 pm Fellowship
6 pm - 7 pm Reunion Feast
7 pm – 7:30 pm Cleanup & short chapter meetings

RSVP and Signup: Registration for the day of service can be found here  Register for Tsali Day of Service

Both chapters will cook a hearty fall beef stew with a side of white rice for our feast. A rich, seasonal, vegetarian stew will also be offered. Sign up here to RSVP and select the things you can provide to help make this a full meal and a memorable event: https://tinyurl.com/27f3prec

If you have any questions, feel free to email either us at can.chief@mowogo.org or lau.chief@mowogo.org. You can email our advisers at lau.adviser@mowogo.org or can.adviser@mowogo.org. We hope to see you all at our day of service! Everyone's hard work will be greatly appreciated.

Fall Fellowship

Brothers and Sisters,

Fall Fellowship is rapidly approaching and if you’re not signed up, you should be! This will be the first Lodge Fall Fellowship ever! Fall Fellowship is taking place on November 17th-19th and has many opportunities for those attending, from service work to patch trading there’s something for everyone.

If you sign up to attend, you’ll spend Saturday in service to the camp, giving back to Scoutland and making it a great camp for those who’ll use it in the future.

But Fall Fellowship isn’t all work! During Saturday lunch there will be a silent auction for all to participate in. In the evening a campfire will be held with fun skits, songs, and activities from every chapter. Following all this will be a cracker barrel with dessert, snacks, and time to spend with friends. Ending off the night will be a patch auction which will certainly hold rare patches!

Please remember that if you are an Annual Season Pass holder, you MUST register for Fall Fellowship separately as it was added after the Season Pass was published.

So sign up before it’s too late at: Mowogo Fall Fellowship

Japeechen Fall Day of Service

Hello Brothers,

The Japeechen Chapter is excited to announce that we will be hosting our 2nd Japeechen Fall Day of Service event from Friday, October 6th to Saturday, October 7th and it will be open to the entire lodge.

Assistance is needed on Friday night to help with the coinciding Etowah Fall Family Camping and their needs for parking. Along with that on Saturday we will be doing service around Scoutland to help out wherever needed. If you are helping out Friday night, please eat dinner beforehand or bring it with you.

Anyone who arrives Friday night, please plan to be there at 5 PM to help out, but even if you show up later, we will still need all the help we can get, and Saturday please plan to arrive at 8:30 to have time for flags, but once again even if you arrive later any help is greatly appreciated. Tools will be provided by Scoutland, but be sure to bring your own PPE (work gloves, proper footwear, rain gear, sunscreen, etc.) and a water bottle. Please plan to arrive in Class A with your sash for flags. Thanks.

The event will be free and lunch will be provided. Breakfast will also be provided if you are staying on Friday night. If you are arriving on Friday, please bring lunch with you, and we will meet on the Admin porch.
